Sing for Tibet 12.12.12 in McLeod Ganj was well-attended, and people loved the event. The Himalayan Band supported the event with their music. Lisa Dhamija was one of our lead singers. Erika Martincich and her daughter Zanaharia Schuch from France sang and helped with the chorus. Local Tibetan artistes Dhondup, Phuntsok 59 and Dolma sang the "Sounds of Unity", and the director Lobsang Wangyal led the "Words of Truth" prayer. Thupten Nyendak (Pema Lama) joined in singing this prayer.

The situation in Tibet has become more critical than ever, so that people have started giving up their lives in the form of human torches. More than ninety people have set themselves ablaze to express their anguish and misery under the Chinese rule in Tibet. We need to assure them that we hear them, and that we are here to do whatever we can to bring an end to their misery.
Sing for Tibet 12.12.12 is an opportunity to show that you really do care about Tibet.
Join us and support this event to let truth, justice, and peace prevail.
Venue and Time:
Tibetan Day School, McLeod Ganj, India
6pm, Wednesday
(Lhakar), 12.12.12.
The gathering will sing four songs.
It will be a peaceful gathering, with each supporter coming with an item that has to do with Tibet, or such as we have created on our merchandise page for the event — a T-shirt, a poster, a cap, etc.
The proceeds from the sale of the merchandise will be used in administrative works. Excess in funds will be used for other similar campaigns in the future.
The director of the event, Lobsang Wangyal, is an experienced producer of events. He has been producing different events since 2000, most of which were produced without outside funding. (His pockets have gotten flat over the years.)
The Director :)
